mulch installation
Mulch is chosen from local sources then triple shredded to our standards so that it lays in your ornamental beds with velvety consistency and in such a way that doesn’t bury existing plant life. Our mulches are also dyed using natural processes by adding composts to our root mulches and organic dies to our hardwood mulches.
Our process of installing mulch is simple and effective but provides a clean charming aesthetic to your outdoor space. Using conveyor systems, we are able to consistently effortlessly move mulch throughout your outdoor space resulting in a faster turnaround. Mulch will be laid between one and three inches thick, and this will be decided based on your specific conditions. We believe no mulch job is complete without our classic standard Victorian edge to define separate spaces such as turf and ornamental beds. Even though we offer many types of edges such as steel, block/stone, and disc cut. We believe the Victorian edge is superior in its attractiveness, natural appeal, and its ability to separate space in your outdoor spaces. When booking your mulch job with us, inquire about our horticulture care packages that are subscription based and maintain the health and charm of your ornamental beds long after mulch is installed.
spring cleanup
When you’re booking your new seasonal services with us, by default we are going to interest you in a fresh start for your outdoor spaces.
Spring Cleanups are a chore I think everybody enjoys getting done, whether it be giving your home that deep clean, scrubbing your windows or moving the house around for summer doors. Everyone has something on their list when the weather breaks in Northeast Ohio.
Our spring cleanup services consist of the processing of herbaceous debris left over from the winter months such as leaves and perennial plants, cutting back grasses and other winter interest plants, Bed edging to make way for mulch and size mitigation of plants that prefer to be cut in the early season such as Dogwood bushes, weigela, and spirea. We tie this all together with a clean sweep of your lawn. Processing herbaceous material onsite reduces the impact of logistics and keeps nutrients in your yard. And don’t worry, our machines process organic litter so well it looks like mulch if you do see it at all.
