Schedule

  • Full-time, year-round
  • 1st shift (8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) & floating winter shift

Responsibilities

Projects include stone and paver patios, retaining walls, outdoor kitchens, pergolas, fireplaces, fire and water features, custom masonry and outdoor lighting.

  • Teach through explanation and demonstration, check the crew’s work and give clear, constructive feedback.
  • Read paper drawings and workorders; lay out work, check grades and measurements, and resolve problems with management.
  • Maintain safe, clean jobsites, use materials responsibly and communicate professionally with clients and management.

Company apps and documentation

Record time, material use and completed work accurately in company apps. Add clear progress photos and useful notes about conditions, problems and next steps. Keep records current and help your crew follow the process. You must demonstrate usable documentation, not just familiarity with apps.

Preferred skills & experience

  • Crew organization, safe working methods and the ability to develop other employees.
  • Construction equipment proficiency, including excavators and compactors.
  • Accurate layout, squaring using the Pythagorean theorem, radius cuts, elevations and shooting grade using levels, laser levels and altimeters.
  • Familiarity with applicable building codes; a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; ability to do physical outdoor work and lift or move 50+ pounds.
  • Low-voltage electrical experience is welcome, but not required.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental and vision benefits available for full-time employees.
  • PTO under company policy, plus paid holidays off in addition to PTO.
  • Paid training and professional development.

Apply

Describe your relevant work history and answer the application questions; concise bullet points are welcome. A resume upload is optional. Be prepared to provide professional references. Work photos are welcome; identify what you personally built.

Interviews include a practical task relevant to your trade, such as framing, veneering a pillar, shooting grade or laying pavers, plus teaching a task and completing a sample app record.

We hire around demonstrated strengths. If this foreman role does not match every part of your experience or interests, apply anyway: another available role may suit your craftsmanship, teaching or management strengths. We will discuss its duties, pay and level of management responsibility before you accept.
