Carmel Landscapes is Northeast Ohio’s premier eco-friendly, sustainability-first landscape design and construction company. We are seeking an experienced Administrative Office Assistant to join our team serving clients in the Chagrin Valley area.

Key job duties:

  • Assisting company owner in office-related tasks.
  • First contact for customer service and data management
  • Schedule meetings and coordinate appointments with clients and stakeholders
  • Maintaining Quickbooks registry
  • Invoicing, inventory, purchase orders, job costing using Quickbooks and Excel
  • Purchasing where necessary
  • Client and vendor database maintenance
  • Document editing and form creation using Adobe Acrobat

Preferred experience:

0-5 years experience in the field. While this can be an entry-level position, we seek to train employees to be long-lasting and valuable team members. Much of the experience below can be gained on the job.
  • Ability to create and manage spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products including: Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Customer service skills: phone, email and inter-departmental communication
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
