Skilled Laborer Job Description
Carmel Landscapes is currently searching for self-motivated, high-performing Skilled Laborers to join our team building luxury hardscape projects in the Chagrin Valley area. We are seeking an experienced candidate that takes pride in their work, values teamwork and has an eye for remarkable craftsmanship.

About the role:
Join our certified team working on premium landscape and hardscape installations for high-end clients including custom patios, outdoor kitchens, retaining walls and fire/water features. Schedule:
- Full-time
- 1st shift (8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) (floating winter shift)
- Overtime available
Types of projects you’ll work on:
- Custom, high-end hardscapes
- Stone patios and outdoor living spaces
- Outdoor kitchens
- Pergolas
- Natural stone walls
- Outdoor fireplaces
- Stone fire/water features
- Custom masonry and stonework
- Outdoor lighting
Required Skills & Experience:
4+ years experience in hands-on hardscape construction experience.- Masonry skills (natural stone, pavers, block)
- Wood construction and carpentry skills
- Expert equipment operation (excavators, compactors, etc.)
- Familiarity with job layouts, the Pythagorean theorem, and radius cutting
- Knowledge of how to operate levels, laser levels, altimeters and shoot grade
- Advanced skills in construction tasks
- Familiarity with standard building codes
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and/or move 50+ pounds
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Work well on a team
- Experience with LV electrical wiring a plus but not mandatory
